page I worked on all week YIKES

It looks so crooked, weird, but I had fun doing it. I made all of the bottom part and the top is our gingerbread houses from last year. I am going to finish Tomorrow River if it kills me (and it m ight) I've been reading the stupid thing for 3 months, I loved her other books, I think it's me. So, I'm going to go and get my ice water sit in front of the fan, cause this weather DOESN'T agree with me (or should I say I don't agree with it haha) and read this book. Should sound nice but all I want to do is take a nap and get away from this migraine, unfortunately it's too hot for even that! OK enough complaining there are people who live in this weather all the time, I am just thankful it NOT ME!

Aaron is my 'eye' because when you make something it's hard to step back, so when he saw this he inadvertently gave me the best compliment. He's not a big fan of the white space so when he saw this he told me add some photos in the middle this is so empty it looks like an add you'd see in a magazine. Uh, BOO-YA! That is totally a compliment to me, I want my pages to look balanced and graphic, so I'll keep asking Aaron his opinion haha.

Still, missing my boy, he say two turtles one on top of the other facing opposite ways and the one one the bottom was trying to get out of the gate, a foot out a head out, poor turtle no shell would fit through the gate. Funny story for Billy tell me today!

finally finished this page

It's so frustrating I have so many ideas lately. so many pages in my head but it hurts to look down so I work for a couple minutes then leave it alone and look up for a while. I can't concentrate when I read because I can never get my neck in the right position, I'm reading this book (it's called Girls In Trouble by Caroline Leavitt) and I like it, I really like it, like I really want to know what's going to happen next and I just can't concentrate. Partially it's the pain, I;m sure partially it's the medication, but it's like I have the time I have the materials I just don't have the drive or the concentration. Even Aaron noticed last night, he's like you've been reading that book for a LONG time is it boring, and I said No! I really like it, I just can't sit still and read uninterrupted by myself, if I was my normal self I would be able to make a couple scrapbook pages a day or I could have gotten through this book on a day or maybe a day and a half. I hope my concentration comes back soon, I miss it! Come out Come out wherever you are!

Old Picture Same Love

how I miss him, when I hear him singing to himself while I'm talking to my mom and he's playing with his cars and trucks and jeeps and trains and excavators and tractors and street sweepers and...and...and....It's rough, it's heartbreaking, it's harder then words can describe to not see his little face, reach out and hug him, hold him close, sing goodnight songs my little lover of John Denver and Bob Marley, then listen to him breath while he's asleep next to me. We'll be together soon. I am so lucky to have my parents to watch over him while I am healing, my head knows it but it's my heart that is the part having a hard time dealing with you being gone.

I need to move to the beach

it's in our blood, even aaron and we aren't genetically tied by blood but Billy and we are and it's where we belong.....please job by Carpinteria fall from the sky, we would be eternally grateful, or if that is too much, how about our house goes up 4 times and the beach homes stay the same. Is that too much to ask? Probably, I just need to be really grateful with what I have, which I am, it just takes me a week or two (at the most) to get out of my miss my family funk. And Billy is part fish, he has finns on his tummy! hahaha

Believe you me it's hard taking a photo of a photo in a frame! Not thrilled with the pumpkins on the bottom of the scrap page but I can live with it.

Billy asked my mom today a question about a train and she didn't know the answer and he told her "Don't worry I'm a train expert." His humility brings tears to my eyes ahahahahahaha! but that was really cute, ok off to bed, the light from the computer is making my migraine worse.

Here is the beautiful camera I ended up with except mine has a larger lens, I need to go back to watching Reservation Road, but I read the book a million years ago so it's a little like deja vu. Thank you for my great hubs for getting me my new camera, even if he did tell the salesman, "Take my advice, if your dating a girl and she says she scrapbooks run like hell." I love him!

it's starting to feel like home

We haven't unpacked many boxes and the photos in the bedrooms arent up yest but the front rooms are coming along nicely. We are getting the other 2 blinds in the living room that face the street up on Thursday and Aaron is going to Home Depot to get the ones for the kitchen because the neighbor that works on our ward has a tendency to stick his head in the window a yell for Aaron, a couple of times I've been coming from the shower with just a shirt and unders, thank god a shirt! but I told Aaron I would really feel more comfortable with some blinds so he or his girlfriend can't just look in.

I am so looking forward to carp and practicing on my cousins with the new camera, very exciting stuff! I also want to get some photos of big girl jane! I think thats it I love our white photo wall, oh yeah I'm painting the yellow in billy room papaya instead, not as easy as I thought! good going miss patty!

but the freakin' bugs are still here, I just killed a spider and a gross bug after finally falling asleep with the never ending migraine. grrrrrr.... happy 4th baby boy, you would have hated it here, firecrackers nonstop since you left, tonight is of course the worst. A couple of times Aaron thought they were guns YIKES! MY migraine is so bad I can see my blood vessels in my eyes when they are ipen and closed. wwwwwaaaahhhhhhh! I'm going to go sit up and hope no more bugs get me! I just had one in my hair, I'm going to die right here on the spot.

cousins

I just joined facebook and I swear it is so fun, what the hell was I thinking not going on before? I love seeing everyones pictures and what they are doing. My very best feiend growing up found me or I found her I can't remember and seriously, that is so cool. I think about her a lot and to actually 'talk' to her and find out she has a 4 and a 3 year old. That is so cool.

The house is still a mess, the only thing I'vw managed to do is keep up on the laundry and dishes. I can't wait for it all to be in place, I sort of want to have a giant garage sale and sell all our stuff and just have a couch TV and bed. What Billy would do I don't know but I'd like to find out! I honestly don't even know where to start.

I've been trying to so something a night since we moved in, it doesn't always happen but when it's a goal it makes it easier to do, I've noticed I go in spurts, like, I'll read for 4 or 5 days straight then scrapbook for a week, then watch TV shows on Netflix for a week, right now I'm wathcing 30 Rock again, for the second time, man is it hilarious. Aaron and I have been watching Friday Night Lights too, we just finished the 2nd season, it's nice having a show we both enjoy, that doesn't come around often!

One Year Ago (photo heavy)

Not much has changed, I am a little surprised, running, check, tools, check, cute as heck, check. The really big difference is NO MORE DIAPERS! CAN I HAVE A WOOT WOOT! Also, daddy doesn't look as worn down, it was right after my surgery, who knew we would be here still, gggrrrrrr! I'll have to do this again in March 11!

Looking at homes, sigh. He's just about the only bright spot right about now. Hope everyone drank a green beer, we made apple juice slushies from are Margaritaville Margarita Maker, FUN (it really was). Off to target....
