we walked over to mtn. views farmers market and i forgot to take any pics! bad mommy! this was cleaning out the car when we got home. We got some yummy stawberries and some veggies then went over to hong kong bakery and got a pork sticky bun and eggroll and at it down the street at the coffee shop. what a nice morning! billy was awesome onthe whole trip and even slept a little on the way home. the market was so crowded i got totally frazzled trying to get around with the stroller while not loosing aaron and the baby, that's the reason i forgot about the camera in my pocket.

we are off to noni and poopys haha poppys tomorrow the car is clean and the bags are packed woo-hoo!

check it!

look at this gorgeous stuff

http://www.qbaroo.com/HamblyScreenPrints/

first 50 orders get free limited edition silkscreen paper. You can bet your a$$ I got mine! I've been a very good scrapper and have been using up my stash instead of buying new stuff. It has been fun and challenging. Fun because i tend to save the stuff i love and challenging because i look back on some of the old stuff and think, I loved that? Why? and the biggest question is, how in the hell am i going to use that and try and make it look cool. wow, can you say run-on sentance? So Ideserve a little reward for using up about half of my stash so far. All of this new and super awesome stuff is coming in from cha at scrapbook dreams, of course i want it all but i promised aaron i'd make room for it first. So hopefully I'll get some more done today.

Not much news on the billy front, he has been fussy today with a capital F! Aaron is in the doghousem we have had some really bad nights, last night was no exception. He didn't really go down until 10:45 and then still slept in fits. I finally just held him at 5:00 so needless to say not the best sleep i've ever had. So, he woke up at 8 for good and in a terrible mood, I'm sure because he's tired! I brought him out to the living room and aaron slept til 12:30. We went out for a little bit we come home and aaron says he's tired and he's going to take a nap. wth? So I give him the look and he says he didn't know i was tired because i didn't tell him. wow just wow, i am so tired all the time i've just stopped saying it. So now he's taking a nap and i'm sitting here not only tired but royally irked! so just so everyone knows, i am saying it now, i am tired!

Yeah I'm looken' at you!

We had a nice surprise yesterday, Mary came over and gave us money to go out to dinner and watched the baby! We went to our favorite Korean BBQ down on Castro street and picked up Coldstone. Not totally exciting but so fun none the less. It is do different to talk without being interupted 100 times by the baby! We are going to lunch today and to do a little baby shopping do I sense some cute new clothes in billy's future? I think so! On another happy note Billy sat under his baby einstein play thing for long enough for me to take a shower and eat breakfast! Wow a first!

Putting him to work

for his diapers! Aaron needs those small hands to reach in those hard to reach places.

Not much new here, just waiting for the weekend to be home with Aaron. He did a scrapbook page yesterday, I'll have to post it later. It is with the girls (dogs), the baby and him. To cool.

Aunt Regina emailed me today, I had sent her some photos in the outfit she gave him, and she said he looked just like me and my dad. No one has said that before and I was really happy about it. I'm used to hearing how much he looks like Aaron or his dad, except for his ears (mine-they totally stick out).

Well, I can't think of anything else today.

he's ready

but we're not!!!

I love having the baby in the bed and not just because it's easier. I love listening tohim breath and watch him smiling in his sleep. Aaron didn't want him in bed at first, now he doesn't want him out either. We didn't plan on being a "family bed" family, it just sort of happened. I didn't have anything against it, just didn't think it was for us.

He really isn't completely ready, he doesn't sleep very long in there but once I get back from moms we are hardcore cribbing! At least, I say that for now!

Check out this

scrap product! It is gogeous!

Look at this face!

Oh, how can you not just love on him! Honestly, has there ever been a cuter baby in this universe?

It's after 11 pm and I'm still up, this could be trouble tommorow morning. Aaron's mom come back from LA tommorow, she is so excited to see the baby. We leave for LA next monday, mom is flying up and then driving back down with us, should be fun-NOT. The driving not going to LA of course!

A scrappy time was had by me!

Wow, this looks so much better in real life. It says, You know we try to do our best. We don't get no rest. We're SO TIRED . Its from the Eric Clapton song. Aaron came home from work the other day and told me he had bought a song for me this was it! Funny man! There is a sweet middle verse and that was the main reason he bought it he said. But yes we are SO TIRED!

Just a little joke about my mom. If you can't read it it says from hot dog eater to baby hog. Baby hog is the name my dad gave her in the hospital, she couldn't keep her hands off the little guy!

By the way, someone tell my hubby I NEED a 12x12 scanner!

Vasona Park with Nana

Oh, I love this picture, I'm gonna have to get it framed. We made it about halfway around the loop and freakout we had to turn around but it was fun! I can't wait for the nice weather again so we can get out some more.

Aaron left me

to go see some Grateful Dead cover band at cache creek. You know what that means? Billy and I get the bed to ourselves! Sadly, I am really looking forward to this. We went out to breakfast this morning, joining the pack of carb loading hung over people. We weren't hung over but were carb loading, getting the blueberry coffeecake at Hobbee's. The baby was great and the servers were all over him, cause he's such a doll!

In honor of St. Patty's Day a day late, peep this scrapper, probably the most creative one out there right now in my opinion. She is fierce!

She rocks the green like no one I've seen before!

Inspired

Just a quick one I had in my head last night, love it when it flows, only took 20 minutes! This is mainly about the journaling, a little homage to my hubby about how with all of his asthma hospitalizations and car and motorcycle accidents I know the reason he is still here, he was born to be Billy's papa!

Another one I did today, took only 15 minutes! I had this in my head for a while also. It's kind of hard to read but it says, "I can tell that we are gonna be friends." It's from the White Stripes song at the beginning of Napolean Dynomite and I've been waiting to do something with this quote.

It's easy to be inspired whith great photos and I love the one with Mary especially. That is Aaron's mom by the way.

Can't pinch me, I got it covered!

Happy St. Patty's Day!

Where's the green beer? I can't believe it, I forgot it was St. Patty's Day, I must be tired! Our first year to no celebrate, what a drag it is getting old. We'll probably head out to the scrapbook store later today but nothing too exciting. Well y'all have a good time for the Hamilton's maybe we'll join you next year!!!!

It's not all rainbows

and butterflies.....

Unfortunately, this is a pretty big part of our life too. He seems to be getting better, he seems to be getting easier to comfort. It's alright, I just read a study that says fussy babies are better toddlers because they were held more. We'll see if it's true.

We made it out of the house today, big trip to Nob Hill. He did great by the way!

Uhhhhh, what?

Aaron just asked if I wanted to go to the video store with him.

I said, "What about the baby?"

He got the weirdest look on his face and said, "Uhhhh, I forgot."

Huh, OK.

Look at this man

I am so lucky! Not only is he a total babe, he is also the greatest daddy in the world!!!!!!!

Just think if I had never had Billy I never would have found that out.

Billy is so into Aaron it's not even funny. He gets do excited when he sees him, arms flailing, squeeling, you name it he does it! He now officially talks more to Aaron than the picture over his changing table. Lucky dad!

The Growing Families guy came over to show me the photos the girl took. Man were they cute. The catch, the cheapest package was 149. dollars for 1 8x10 and 3 5x7's. What the hell? I'm going to Sears haha. Anyway, I get a free 8x10 for letting them come over and take his picture the first time so thats what I got. Then he tried to barter and tell me he could charge me ONLY 99. dollars for 2 8x10's. Uh, no thanks, but man I wish I had that kind of money! The most expensive package, 700 dollars, who spends that much on baby photos? Well, off to make dinner...

I got the time to scrap...

but I got no mojo! Where did it go? I'm not too impressed with these, just glad to get some more of the hospital photos done.

There's no journaling on this one, just trying to play around with white space.

Journaling reads: When one of the volenteers dropped off some more of the beautiful flowers I recieved she said, "Wow, you're like the most loved person in the hospital." She was right!

Rubber ducky.....

you're the one. You make bathtime lots of fun.

Baby is so funny, when he drops his duck he gets soooooooooo mad! Then when I put it back on his tum, he's Mr. Happy again.

E.T. phone home

Look at all those stuffed animals! Where's the baby? He loves the yellow duck!

Wake Up Sleepyhead....

you're missing all the good stuff!!!!

Snow, Bay Area, March? What the hell?

Am I the last person in America...

to have a blog. I thought it would be so much harder to set up being that I am a total techno-geek.

We had a good weekend, didn't do that much. We went up to the snow early to miss the traffic, it was only a couple of miles out of Saratoga. Kimi sent an email that said, "How do you know patty and aaron are new parents? They get up early to do stuff!" Hahaha it's true!

We watched Jarhead and Just Friends this weekend, I thought they were just muah, especially Just Friends. But after watching Brokeback Mountain and Jarhead I am definitley more into Jake Gyllenhall(?). I really wasn't feeling him before, maybe because I thought he looked weird in Donnie Darko, I don't know.

In Billy-boy news, he is totally into sucking his hand now, I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up fitting the whole thing in his mouth like the Carl's Jr. commercial!!!!!!! He is so full of smiles, then BAM, he is UPSET! Lately he seems calmer and easier to console though. Not to much going on today, I am hoping to take hiim out for a little bit, depending on his mood, because the sun just came out finally. Aaron left for work at 5:45 again, the baby woke him up and he couldn't go back to sleep. I'll bet he has a long day!

For not much going on I had a lot to write about I guess.
