Rootin' Tootin' New Years Eve

I need photoshop just to edit out all the crap in the background, that is a frustrating thought. Anyway, Happy New Year from the Hamiltons and BIlly in his hew boots!

Happy New Year (ALMOST)

A photo from Billy at Hart park, I love him standing along the fence in his little bow tie. I usually have a hard time using the diecut papers but this came together really easily and was fun to make!

Billy and Jessie at Brian and Ann's family X-mas party, he had so much fun playing the guitar, whenever he heard someone playing he would run in the room and try and play along. Who knew we had so many talenteed peeps in our circle!


A Merry Christmas was had by all and we are looking forward to Aaron having 4 DAYS OFF!!!! Nani came over tonight with cowboy boots for Billy, I'll have to take a picture of him wearing them cause he's just too dang cute in them and he built a computer this afternoon.

a few new layouts

From the Studio Calico kit, I had a hard time using this one, but am keeping up my goal of 10 layouts a kit. On the layout above I used a piece of wood glues a transparancy to the bottom cut it out, stamped the journaling lines and wrote right on it. It was fun to use, I haven't had the opportunity to before!

The first is of Billy floating, as soon as Billy realized he was not being held he stood up but for 2 short minutes he was all on his own and I was one super proud mommy!

Looks like fun, huh? It was! I had to add the picture of Billy reading to his stuffed animals, it was sooooo sweet!

Secret Spot

Aaron and Billy over by the train yards in Milpitas, they love it there, trains, a creek and tons of rocks, what more could you ask for!

And look what Aaron found when he was taking care of Billy yeserday! Later he told me it was only after 5 minutes of watching him, hahahahaha!

One more thing, a little conversation from when we were at Target picking up prescriptions yesterday:

Billy: "I want this truck" (holding up a big truck)
Mommy: "I told you a matchbox car, that's too much money, you need to pick something cheaper."
Billy: "OK, you know that's my style"

I wish I had a recording of How he said it that was half the reason it was so funny, another mom in the isle was laughing too. He is so silly and funny!

Santas Helper

I love this sweet picture of Billy, the journaling just talks about how Billy's love for santa is only rivaled by candy!

A quick funny story, Mary had called and asked me what to get Billy for his birthday and I was talking about presents with her while billy was playing on the other side of the room, he must have overheard me because he came running over and in the MOST EXCITED VOICE EVER asked, "Are you talking to SANTA!" I did what every good mother would do and lied through my teeth! He was very very impressed that santa called HIS house to find out what he wanted for Christmas, I told him it's because he's such a good boy and Santa knows, you know. I love this age, I can't wait for Christmas to come, I'm sure it will be magical!

Not much fuss, but Billy and I are having fun getting ready! He spent almost an hour coloring this the purple lines on each side are arrows to show how to get to the room, so smart! Look at all the work he put into the right shoe!

I am thankful for....

SOUP! Or so says Billy, funny boy. Not much new here other then scrapbooking.

Almost Four

A list of things little one loves at four, just about the same list at 3 except now he loves poop jokes and scrapbooking! I have the photosfrom Billy's photo shoot and I can't even begin to say howmuch I love them, Icould scrap them each 100 times and still not be bored. She really captured my sweet little guy.

We saw Aunt Mil at the rehab center today and he wanted water from the little hospital pitchers in the worst way. The nice lady in Mil's room let him have some of hers and he kept pouring some for her and some for him, she wasn't thirsty but a good sport and went on and on about how cute he is and what a good sharer he is (all true hahaha)

Everyone is almost through being sick, yay Hamilton's! I scrapped another layout tonight and want to keep going but need to be off to bed. I tell ya, I love these pictures! Will post new one soon!

tea cups

What a good daddy riding the tea cups at the risk of getting sick. Can't wait to go back to Funderland, neither can Billy.

On a side note, I think we have too much stuff, when nate and jadyn came to get billy they told him his house is like a toy store. hahahahaha

A few newish layouts, Aaron must be my muse lately. Not much going on other then the heat here. Tomorrow we are going to a cowboy dinner, hike and singalong. Billy is super excited, there is meatloaf (cooked in a Dutch oven) hot chocolate, apple cider and flashlights. Good times!

I think that if I had one verb to describe Billy it might be smiley! He sure is, it takes a lot to get that little guy down and I love that he sees the joy in everything. He is such a positive and easygoing little one, lucky us!

New bed!

So excited about the new, old bed, it's really cool that this bed went from crib to toddler bed to full size bed. Now I want a new mattress and new bedding too! He slept all through the night!

And it's over...

yay! He is feeling better! When he didn't want to pick something up or wanted a Popsicle he told me he has "just a little fever". He learns quick!

I this is so different than I'm used to doing but I had so much fun with it. When Aaron showed me the pictures he had in his desk at Cadence I grabbed onto them and knew I'd do something with them so here's the start of that. The middle picture is from 1990 and his employee Vivian took this picture because he was dressed up. He said she would always take a picture of him when he came to work in Dockers and a button down shirt. It's kind of hard to see but there is a stamp of a boy and an A monogram on the bottom.



I did this because so many people at Barron's party that didn't know Billy went out of their way to tell me what a good boy, sweet boy, well behaved boy ect. ect. I wanted to get that down.
